De Labfirst Scientific Instrument MD-150 Molecular Distillation Unit is een geavanceerd systeem voor moleculaire (short path / wiped film) destillatie, ontworpen voor het scheiden, zuiveren en concentreren van warmtegevoelige stoffen onder hoog vacuüm. Het systeem is bijzonder geschikt voor toepassingen binnen de farmaceutische industrie, chemie, voedingsmiddelenindustrie, nutraceuticals en extractietechnologie.

Dankzij de zeer korte verblijftijd van het product in de verdampingszone wordt thermische degradatie tot een minimum beperkt. De MD-150 werkt met een dunne vloeistoffilm (“wiped film”) waardoor efficiënte warmteoverdracht en hoge scheidingsprestaties mogelijk zijn.

De installatie is opgebouwd uit hoogwaardige materialen zoals borosilicaatglas en RVS 316L, wat zorgt voor uitstekende chemische resistentie, duurzaamheid en een goed zicht op het proces. Het systeem is modulair opgebouwd en kan worden uitgebreid met extra condensors, chillers en automatisering.
